ABOUT

Dr. LaChandra Fitzgerald

I don’t write about leaving because it’s easy. I write about it because I’ve seen what happens when people stay too long.

I’ve worked in environments where the expectations didn’t match the reality. Where what was said and what was done didn’t align. I stayed longer than I should have—trying to make sense of it, trying to fix it, trying to do the work the right way.

What I learned is this: not everything is meant to be fixed from the inside. Some things require a different kind of movement—one that is thoughtful, strategic, and grounded in clarity.

That’s the work I do now.

You don’t have to flip the table
for it to turn.
